You deserve to know exactly how a review site pays its bills — it's the only honest way for you to judge whether to trust what it says. So here's the full picture, including the parts most sites bury.
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That's what keeps this site running and free of intrusive ads, and lets me keep buying and testing new products. It never changes the price you pay, and it never changes where a product lands in a ranking. I participate in a number of affiliate and retail programs, which may include the Amazon Associates program and brand-run affiliate programs.
I want to be completely upfront: I partner with several of the brands whose products I review and recommend. My current partners include Franky, IM8, AG1, Ascent, and Everyday Dose, among others. These partnerships are what fund the testing, writing, and running of this site.
Here's my commitment to you: being a partner never buys a better ranking. Every product — partner or not — is tested against the exact same criteria I'd use if no partnership existed, and the results stand on their own. In my protein coffee guide, for example, Franky (a partner) currently ranks #1, but other partners like Ascent and Everyday Dose place lower on the list, and a non-partner like Chike still wins its category on merit (best value). I don't hide any product's downsides — you'll see them listed plainly in every review. My honest opinion is that Franky is the most complete protein coffee I've tested, but your goals and preferences may point you somewhere else, which is exactly why I review each option in detail and encourage you to read the full breakdowns before deciding.
I also earn income directly from my own products and services — such as my 90-day coaching and custom meal-plan program. When you buy directly from me, you're paying for my time and expertise, not for a review placement. My product recommendations in articles are kept separate from my paid services, and buying one is never a requirement for the other.
I review the products people actually ask me about — the best-sellers, the ones trending on social media, and the ones readers request. A brand cannot pay to be included in a roundup, to be excluded from one, or to have a competitor left out. If a category is dominated by a few popular products, those are the ones I test, regardless of whether any of them is a partner.
If a piece of content is ever fully sponsored or paid for by a single brand, I will label it clearly as sponsored so you always know the difference between an independent review and paid placement. My rankings and "best of" guides are not sponsored — they reflect my own testing and opinions.
In line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, I disclose my material connections to the brands I write about — including affiliate relationships and partnerships — clearly and conspicuously. This page, along with the disclosures within individual reviews, is intended to make those connections obvious so you can weigh my recommendations accordingly.
Nothing on this site is medical advice, and I never accept payment to make a health claim. Any statements about ingredients or benefits reflect general nutrition science and my own opinion, not a promise of results. Statements about dietary supplements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
If anything here is unclear, or you'd like to know more about how a specific review was put together, please reach out. You can also read how I test and score every product.
